1. Information we don't collect
Lockrr does not require you to create an account or sign in. We do not collect your name (beyond an optional first name you may type during onboarding, which stays on your device), email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, or browsing history. We do not record audio or video, and we do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
2. Camera & push-up detection
Lockrr asks for camera access so it can count your push-up repetitions. Counting is performed entirely on your device using Apple's on-device Vision framework (human body-pose detection).
No photos or video from the camera are ever recorded, saved, or transmitted anywhere. The camera feed is analyzed in real time and immediately discarded. Nothing from your camera leaves your device, and we never have access to it.
3. Screen Time & Family Controls data
To block the apps and websites you choose, Lockrr uses Apple's Screen Time / Family Controls APIs. When you pick something to block, Apple gives the app a privacy-preserving, opaque token rather than the real identity of the app or site. These tokens are stored on your device.
Because of how Apple designed these APIs, Lockrr cannot see which apps you actually use, how long you use them, or your web browsing activity — only the selections you explicitly choose to block.
4. Data stored on your device
The following is created and stored locally on your device only. It is not sent to us or to any server:
- The apps and websites you've chosen to block (as Apple tokens).
- Your settings, including your push-up-to-minutes "intensity" ratio.
- Your banked minutes and unlock timers.
- Your push-up counts, minutes earned, streaks, and session history.
- Your onboarding answers (an optional first name, goals, usage estimates, and triggers you select).
This data is removed when you delete the app from your device.
5. Subscriptions & third parties
Lockrr offers auto-renewing subscriptions. Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store; we never receive or store your payment card details.
We use RevenueCat, a third-party subscription platform, to manage purchases and verify your subscription status. To do this, RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier, purchase and transaction data, and limited device information (such as device model, operating system version, country, and IP address) used to validate receipts, manage your access, and prevent fraud. RevenueCat and Apple act as our service providers / processors.
Their handling of this data is governed by their own policies: RevenueCat Privacy Policy and Apple Privacy Policy.
6. Notifications
Lockrr may send local notifications on your device (for example, reminders or alerts when blocked time is about to resume). These are generated on your device and do not collect any information about you. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
7. How we use information
The limited information described above is used only to provide the app's features — blocking apps, counting push-ups, tracking your progress, and managing your subscription. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or any unrelated purpose.
8. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. The only parties that receive any data are the service providers necessary to run subscriptions (Apple and RevenueCat), as described above. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
9. Data retention
Data stored on your device remains until you delete it within the app or delete the app itself. Purchase records held by Apple and RevenueCat are retained according to their respective policies and as required for tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention purposes.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Because Lockrr stores your app data on your device, you can access and delete it directly:
- Delete the app, or clear your data within it, to remove all on-device information.
- To request deletion of data held by our subscription processor, contact us at the email below and we will assist.
We do not sell personal data, and we honor "do not sell" requests by default.
11. Children's privacy
Lockrr is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
12. Security
Because your app data stays on your device, it is protected by your device's built-in security, including its passcode and encryption. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we minimize risk by keeping data on-device and limiting what is shared with our processors.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be reflected here, and your continued use of Lockrr after an update means you accept the revised policy.
14. Contact
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or your data, contact us at okudilimicheal@gmail.com.
